People come to the Hudson House on Main Street in Nyack because here, they feel at home. Often requesting particular waiters and waitresses, the patrons at this establishment–once home to village hall and a jailhouse–are consistently treated to warm service.
A little bit more about the restaurant’s history: two former jail cells remain and house the wine cellar, and the walls and ceilings are covered in the original pressed tin from the 1800s. Upstairs, where the village judge held court, is an additional dining room for private parties.
August 5th marked the twenty-fourth anniversary of the Hudson House.
